Krista Hadeed Larson, MS, CCC-SLP

Krista Hadeed Larson, MS, CCC-SLP, is a Florida state licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, holding a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL). Krista obtained her Master's of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University, graduating with highest honors.

Krista has practiced in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, outpatient facilities, private clinics, homes, and schools. She has also served as a clinical supervisor to graduate students and currently serves as an adjunct faculty member for Nova Southeastern University. Krista has made presentations to other speech-language pathologists at both the American Speech and Hearing Association and the Florida Association for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (FLASHA) professional conferences.

Krista is honored to be a member of the Nu Sigma Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Eta Honor Society, which holds sincerity and integrity to the highest standards. In 2020, Krista was awarded the Distinguished Early Career Professional Certificate by ASHA, which recognizes SLPs who make an impact in the areas of leadership, volunteering, and advocacy.

She strongly believes in a child-led approach to intervention and is dedicated to working with families and professionals. Krista is committed to professional advancement for the benefit of her clients and enjoys staying up to date through continuing education courses.

In her free time, Krista loves going to the beach with her husband and 2-year-old son. She also has two Golden Retrievers who keep her very busy! he’s a true “foodie” at heart and loves trying out new cuisines.

Cara Rubin, MS, CCC-SLP

Cara R. Rubin, MS, CF-SLP, is a Florida state licensed Speech Language Pathologist, holding a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) She graduated from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!) in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Cara obtained her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. Fun fact: Cara completed her pediatric externship here with Krista!

Cara has been a nanny for over 12 years where she found her love and compassion of the communication aspects in children. While in graduate school she practiced in variety of clinical settings, including outpatient facilities, private clinics, homes and schools. 

In her free time, Cara loves being in nature, traveling and immersing herself in new cultures. She’s an adrenaline junky and loves to sky dive. When Cara is not flying in the sky she loves to be on the ground with her two Bernedoodles! 

Leo

Leo the Golden Retriever is our very own office dog! In 2022, Leo became an official therapy dog with a local organization. His favorite thing in the world is greeting humans and he has a special love for children.

You may see him around the office from time-to-time, spreading joy (and some fur) wherever he goes!
